Make a Difference
Volunteer with FACLC
At Family & Children’s Law Center (FACLC), we believe that justice should be accessible to everyone, regardless of income. By volunteering with us, you can help provide life-changing legal support to families and children in need. Whether you’re a law student, an attorney, a paralegal, or a community member, your time and skills can make a real impact.
Who Can Volunteer?
Law Students – Gain hands-on experience in family law by working directly with clients, assisting in court filings, and even making court appearances (if certified). A semester with FACLC provides invaluable training for your legal career.
Attorneys – Whether you are a solo practitioner, law firm associate, or corporate attorney, volunteering with FACLC allows you to use your legal skills for good. Many law firms and corporations encourage pro bono hours, and we can provide opportunities for you to represent clients, make court appearances, or assist with legal filings—all while fulfilling your firm’s or company’s volunteer requirements.
Paralegals & Legal Professionals – If you have experience with legal filings, case management, or client intake, your skills can directly benefit families in need. Help us prepare important documents, assist attorneys, and guide clients through complex legal processes.
Students, Retirees & Seniors – You don’t need a legal background to help. From administrative tasks to client support, we always have meaningful ways for you to contribute—whether short-term or long-term.
Your Time Can Change Lives
Volunteering with FACLC isn’t just about giving back, it’s about being part of a mission that empowers families, protects children, and strengthens our community.
